Do I need to pay for the initial meeting?

Not at all. The initial meetings are held at our own cost.

Do I need to sign up to the services at the intial meeting?

We are in no rush for you to make a decision. We encourage you to take the time to consider and ask any questions before going ahead.

What are your fees?

Do you charge VAT?

No. Our fees are not subject to VAT.

What services do you offer?

We offer a range of financial planning services including investment advice, retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, and insurance planning.

How do you determine your clients' financial goals?

We take the time to understand our clients’ financial situation and goals through a comprehensive discovery process. This includes a review of their current financial situation, future plans and aspirations, and any other relevant information that will help us create a customised financial plan tailored to their needs.

Are you regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)?

Streamline Financial Planning is an Appointed Representative of ValidPath Limited which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Our success is measured by the satisfaction of our clients and the achievement of their financial goals. We regularly review our clients’ portfolios and financial plans to ensure that they are on track and make any necessary adjustments to help them achieve their financial objectives.

How do you communicate with clients?

We communicate regularly with our clients through a variety of channels, including email, phone, meetings – either in person or online via MS Teams or Zoom. We believe in clear and open communication and are always available to answer any questions or concerns our clients may have.

  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Exams consisting of:
    • R01 – Financial services, regulation and ethics

  • Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management: Exams consisting of:

Are you independent?

Yes, we provide impartial and objective financial advice.

Unlike tied advisers who are affiliated with a specific financial institution and can only offer their products, independent financial advisers are not tied to any particular financial product or company and can provide a wider range of options to their clients. Therefore, as an independent financial adviser, Simon has the ability to search the entire market for financial products that meet his clients’ specific needs and goals.

Can you advise on Final Salary/Defined Benefit transfers?

No. Should you need advice in this area, we can refer you to a specialist provider that is regulated, experienced and insured in this type of work.
